Community is where recovery happens.

MHRT/C Domain 2: Community Integration & Inclusion is about so much more than connecting people with services, it's about helping individuals build meaningful, independent lives.

In this course, you'll learn how to:
• Conduct person-centered assessments that help identify each individual's unique strengths and goals.
• Connect people with valuable community resources, including mental health, substance use, employment, crisis, and natural support services.
• Use effective communication techniques, including Motivational Interviewing, to encourage growth and positive change.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and documentation that support progress over time.
• Understand the important role of peer support and community inclusion in the recovery process.

As an MHRT/C professional, you'll often be the bridge between a person and the resources that empower them to thrive. Domain 2 provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to advocate, collaborate, and support individuals as they work toward living safe, healthy, and fulfilling lives in their communities. These are foundational competencies for anyone pursuing an MHRT/C certification.
