🌟 Celebrating International Dot Day! 🌟

Our students and staff showed their creativity by wearing polka dots in honor of International Dot Day! 🔵🟡

We celebrated by reading The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, a story that reminds us to make our mark, embrace creativity, and believe in ourselves. 🎨📚

Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun! Together, we’re making our mark at Hains!⭐

Today, we’re celebrating our School Lunch Heroes!

A special thank-you goes to Mrs. Yvette Ferrell, school nutrition manager at A. Dorothy Hains Elementary School, and her incredible team for the care, dedication and love they pour into serving more than 380 students each day.

From preparing nutritious meals to greeting students with warm smiles and hugs, Mrs. Ferrell and her staff help make the cafeteria a place where students feel seen, supported and ready to learn.

To celebrate School Lunch Hero Day, Mrs. Ferrell received a surprise visit from RCSS Nutrition Services Director Cathy Johnson, A. Dorothy Hains Principal Rachel McRae and her family, who came together to show their support and honor her as their school lunch hero.

Happy School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you for feeding our students and fueling their success.
