Happy Homecoming day! Here is some details for the day.

If you are participating in the parade: If you are a float/trailer that is helping us out with a team please meet at the high school at 2 pm. If you are a business please meet us on the West side of the elementary school leaving room for student floats to come through as well. The parade route is shown below.

Stadium drive hill will be where our elementary and middle/high school students view the parade from. Please leave this area for the students before filling in.

Homecoming 2026 Community Decorating Contest + Parade

Audubon businesses, clubs, organizations, families… you’ve officially been called out. 👀🏆

Last year’s decorating champion, Audubon Family Chiropractic, apparently thinks that trophy is staying right where it is. In fact, they’ve already issued the challenge: come and take it.

So… who’s ready to prove them wrong? 😏

Homecoming week is going HOLLYWOOD, and we want Audubon to roll out the red carpet with us! Decorate your business windows, storefront, office, or organization space for our “Lights, Camera, Wheelers!” theme and compete for the coveted community decorating trophy—and, more importantly, a full year of bragging rights. 🏆

But don’t stop there! Join us for the Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 18! Enter a float, decorate a vehicle, gather your employees or organization and walk the route—whatever gets you in the parade and showing that Wheeler pride.

🎥 Theme: Lights, Camera, Wheelers!
🏆 Community Decorating Contest: The trophy is officially up for grabs
🎬 Homecoming Parade: Friday, September 18
❤️ Mission: Turn Audubon into our own little Hollywood for Homecoming Week

Audubon Family Chiropractic has made their position clear.

Now the question is: Who’s coming for the trophy? 👀🏆

Lights. Camera. Competition.
Let the Homecoming games begin! 🎬❤️🤍

Plot Twist: the weather does not look great for Sunday so we are making the call now to move inside and get the message out instead of waiting and scrambling.

Join us at the high school after the Warrior game or starting around 4. We'll still have bounce houses, games, cotton candy, and Sister Sips.

At 6 pm we'll start the team recongitions, live auction of the signed volleyball and football (we know someone is going to want this year's football for sure!).

We hope to see you there!

Student Senate needs your help! Homecoming Parade Help....

We are on the hunt for a flatbed trailer and driver that could haul our band during the parade. We will have 36 students but not music stands, just chairs.

Is there anyone that has one and be available to help us out during the parade on September 18th from 2-3pm

*Not our picture but using one for attention and an idea of what we need.

The countdown is on! 5 days until we kick off "Lights, Camera, Wheelers!"

Join us Sunday September 13th starting at 3:30 pm when our 4-6th grade football program plays. Let's pack the stands for the younger generation of Wheelers!

Then following the Warriors game we'll have bounce houses, games, cotton candy and Sister Sips Sodas for your enjoyment.

Starting around 6pm we'll have our Auction of signed volleyball and football, team recognition and our homecoming court announcement!

We hope to see you there!
