Very Interesting. I've always said, and will continue to always promote the fact that they will never replace Court Reporters. Hold on to those older machines. They may be added to that Unhackable Technology list. You can't alter steno notes - ever!

Dictionary Management Tip: Pull up your personal dictionary - filter out your conflicts - and take a few at a time and work them out. Just by eliminating a vowel sometimes will help avoid the conflict. For example - if you use YARD for Beyond a Reasonable Doubt and it conflicts with your word "yard" then get rid of the vowel for the brief. You can do that for many briefs that are words.
