Thanks to all of the people who donated books for our ‘Blind Date with a Book’ project! The staff was sooooo excited to pick out a book or two to enjoy over the summer! We all opened them at once, and it was like Christmas morning! So much joy was shared!❤️

Aspiring musicians ages 4-10 can learn to play the ukulele with Strum Bugs Ukulele Camp! 🐝

Join us at the Lakeland Public Library Tuesday through Friday, May 19th-22nd at 3:30 PM for a four-day beginner ukulele series. Kids will learn the basics of playing the ukulele, practice simple chords, and enjoy plenty of joyful strumming together. No experience needed.

Moms, I hope you enjoyed your keychains the kids made for you! We had fun learning about the science and chemistry involved in Shrinky D***s!

We had a great time at our paint party last Friday to celebrate our last day of alpha! Have a great summer, and keep challenging your brain!!!

Combined a little cooking and chemistry today 😀 Students learned how to use a piping bag to decorate cupcakes too. We may have some future bakers in our midst!

What an exciting summer opportunity for children in Polk County through Polk State College!
This summer, they are proud to offer our Kids at College program, which provides engaging, hands-on classes for students ages 5–13. It is a wonderful opportunity for young learners to explore new interests, build skills, and experience a college environment in a fun and supportive setting.

We love science…even on our day off!!! Some of our alpha/enrichment students enjoyed the Orlando Science Center today! ❤️
