We have had 10 days of everyone HERE! For every 5 days we add a piece to Mr. Potato Head… the students decided to put the pieces in and build him a little crazy this time! 😆 We were able to spin the wheel and are excited to have the confetti cannon! 🎉

What a GREAT day at our House Assembly yesterday! 💜🧡🖤💙💚🎉

Early Release Days give us such a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate, connect, and learn as a school family!

This time, our 2nd grade teachers, along with our amazing music teacher, Mrs. Soltys, shared an important message about our emotions.

We ALL experience feelings like Anger😡, Anxiety😟 , Sadness😞, and Fear😧 … and it’s okay to feel them! What matters is learning what we can do with those feelings and choosing actions that help us work our way back toward JOY 🤩!

We learned three simple steps:
✨ 1. Name it.
💛 2. Feel it.
💪 3. Handle it.

Such an important lesson for our kiddos…and honestly, a pretty great reminder for us grown-ups too! 🫶

And I think some of my students may have been just a little surprised to see Mrs. Lewis wearing SO MUCH ORANGE! 😂🧡🍊 But when it’s House Assembly Day, you have to show that HOUSE SPIRIT! 🙌 My class showed up in Purple to represent El Mejor 💜 We are the best!

Another great day of learning, growing, and making memories together! 💜✨
