Congratulations to our friends at Pendulum Animation Studio for their recent nomination in the category of Best Animated Short!

Several Pixels and Polygons faculty and alumni were involved in the production, overseen by long time friend of P&P, Brian Colby. We're so proud to see Signalman, the historic, personal story getting the recognition it deserves! In addition to this nomination, Signalman is an official selection in multiple international film festivals as well.

We had an incredible time at PAX East 2025!

We're grateful to have met so many truly amazing people. We made new connections within the industry from folks who were blown away by our students' work and we met many, many aspiring artists who were excited to learn about our program. (Of course PAX is also home to tons of amazing cosplayers as well!)

Visitors to our booth often shared the same sentiment: The college system has become far too expensive. The burden of debt and the ever increasing cost of a degree is not the right foundation to build a career in a competitive, ever changing field. The contrast between us and the big universities could not have been more clear.

Our grads our skillful, nimble, resilient, optimistic, and free to go make their dreams a reality. That realization alone made the wild weekend worthwhile.

Summer Workshops are Back at P&P!

By popular demand, we're excited to reintroduce our two-week High School Boot Camps. Students will learn to create original 3D characters, animate them, 3D print them, and view them in Virtual Reality! (We may even do some motion capture.) 😀
