Auburndale High School

Volunteer Polk serves as a comprehensive resource for students to find community impact and volunteer opportunities with nonprofits, faith-based, and government organizations throughout the county.

These volunteer opportunities can help students complete their social impact hours for their PCPS Community Service honors, complete volunteer hours for scholarships, gain experience in an interesting field or for their resume, and develop positive friendships with others focusing on a better community.

Big thanks to our awesome AHS custodial staff! We appreciate their hard work and diligence in keeping our buildings clean and our grounds in tip top shape all year long! Great job!

Still need that required ECG to participate in sports?
(New law requires all incoming 9th graders & any first-time high school student-athletes,10th-12th graders, to have an ECG to play high school sports.)
There are 2 FREE upcoming heart screening events tomorrow, July 30th and Friday, July 31st in Lakeland.

Parents, we know that dropoff will be slow during the first few days of school. However, please keep in mind that there are TWO designated student dropoff areas in the front of the school.

Keep in mind that you can turn up Ohio Ave. (where our AHS marquee is) AS WELL AS Prado Ave (which is the next street up on the map below) and typically has far less traffic!

Please utilize Prado Ave. for dropoff in the mornings and pickup in the afternoons.

THE AHS STADIUM PARKING LOT IS NOT A PICKUP/DROPOFF LOCATION FOR STUDENTS.
