❤️ Today marks the end of 2nd Grade! The last day of school has always been an array of emotions for me. I am always excited for Summer, but reminiscent of the 180 days I've spent with the kids.

We work so hard all year to grow our brains 🧠 and hearts 💕 and I am beyond proud of all their achievements.

Here's to another year down, and countless more to go!

Always remember you are loved 😍 and cared for 💚 You always, ALWAYS, have a place in my classroom and heart.

To all my students, past and newly past 🤣, may you have a wonderful Summer! Soak up some sun 🌞 and cozy up to a good book 📖

The kids and I both loved watching this build up all year! Each star represents $100 earned by passing a 2nd grade domain!

We ended the 25-26 school year with:

*💲175 Freckle Bucks were passed out
*16 Freckle Masters (passing all 2nd grade domains) 🐷
*6 DOUBLE Freckle Masters (passing 2nd and 3rd grade domains) 🐷🐷
*1 TRIPLE Freckle Master (passing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade domains) 🐷🐷🐷
*1 Math Ninja (first ever for 2nd grade) 🥷️️✖️➗️
*TRIPLED the # of Level 3 or higher on FAST PM3!

We all worked so hard this year! So proud of these kiddos! 🎉🎉🎉

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, no backpacks will be allowed at all PCPS school sites for the remainder of the current school year.

This applies to all PCPS school sites beginning Tuesday, May 26, through Thursday, May 28 — the last day of school.

Students may carry bags no larger than a small purse. Lunchboxes will still be permitted.

This is simply a precautionary measure. It is not uncommon for schools to implement such a security change during the final days of the school year, when it is no longer necessary for students to carry backpacks or large purses.

If you feel that your child needs accommodations regarding this change, please contact your school’s administration.
