Mrs. Gill’s Second Grade Class

Pajama Day we put on our fuzzy socks and did a couple of brain breaks, Reindeer Hocky Pocky, Christmas freeze dance. We were having such a good time, before we knew it, they started calling buses to go home! Merry Christmas to all, make memories with your family over the holidays!

Mrs. Gill’s class had a blast with our Reindeer Games Celebration! I was so blessed to see my students with so many smiles and laughter!

We celebrated this friend today!

Mrs. Gill’s class had a great day leading about Native Americans way of life long ago. They scooped cranberries and tasted them. Next they went hunting and fishing. They learned some games the children played and got their face painted. Then it was onto plant corn like Squanto show the settlers with fish. In the next class the made music makers. Next they used clay and made pinch pots. The final stop was back in our classroom where we learned about popcorn! Yes, Native Americans brought popcorn to first Thanksgiving!

On Friday we celebrated a birthday! Thank you for the cupcakes, chips, party hats, and juice! Ever had a great time as well as the Birthday Boy !

Congratulations to these award earning students! 1st nine weeks, so proud of all the students!

Cold front working through Caldwell, but no planes were grounded! We took time on our Early Dismissal day to get in some fun Math and Science activities! We learned more about force and motion along with measurement! Everyone had a great time!

My sweet students had a wonderful last two days at school before winter break! We enjoyed a movie, caroling, a party, games, snacks, testing, a storm! We survived with smiles on our faces! What a blessing to see the joy on their little faces!

WE packed a lot packed into our Early Dismissal today! We had a house assembly, costume day, Red Ribbon week, and a class bubblegum party! I loved seeing the kids in their costumes!
