Congratulations to Melissa Townsend for receiving CLA Staff Employee of the Year and to JungMoon Hyun for receiving a CLA Competitive Interdisciplinary Team Science Grant for her project: “Cognitive Flexibility and Brain Network Connectivity in Older Adults!

MS SLP students Katelin, Nyla, and Emily participated in the final IPE Clinic of the semester at The Phoenix. This mobile clinic provides free, comprehensive health screenings for adults at a variety of community locations. Students work with peers from nursing, pharmacy, social work, and dietetics to provide interprofessional, personalized care to patients.

Congratulations to Kensley Brewis, third year audiology student on completing her Albert Schweitzer Fellowship! Kensley’s project focused on aural rehabilitation for adults living with hearing loss in rural Alabama.
