Western High School Robotics Warrior Bots Team 5603 is a dedicated team participating in the FIRST Robotics Competitions.

Team #5603; The Warrior Bots is a team participating in the FIRST Robotics Competition based out of Bay City Western High School. "FIRST was founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. Based in Manchester, NH, the 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit public charity designs accessible, innovative programs that motivate young people to pursue education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and math, while building self-confidence, knowledge, and life skills." -http://www.usfirst.org/aboutus/vision

2015 was Western High School's rookie year participating in the FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition). Western is very excited and supportive of the 24 young members on the team. FIRST Robotics teams are given six weeks to design, build, engineer, program, and test their very own robot that was built to perform a specific task. We are all very excited to be a part of the FIRST Robotics Competition and cannot wait to for the fun and learning to begin!

For the first time, NASA will launch two student missions on one sounding rocket!

A sounding rocket will launch carrying student experiments to suborbital space Wednesday, June 24, with a window opening at 5:30 a.m. EDT. A livestream will begin around 10 minutes before scheduled launch time on the Wallops YouTube channel.

The RockSat campaign is a combination of the RockOn and RockSat missions.

The Wallops Visitor Center will open its gates at 4:30 a.m. for launch viewing. The launch may be visible in the Wallops region, weather permitting. Stay tuned for a launch viewing map!
