2015 was Western High School's rookie year participating in the FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition). Western is very excited and supportive of the 24 young members on the team. FIRST Robotics teams are given six weeks to design, build, engineer, program, and test their very own robot that was built to perform a specific task. We are all very excited to be a part of the FIRST Robotics Competition and cannot wait to for the fun and learning to begin!

The WarriorBots Team 5603 competed in the playoffs as the 2nd Pick of Alliance 1 and won the Midland event With their Captain Freeland Fabricators and Alliance partner Hemlock's Gray Matter.
They were so honored and excited to be a part of the winning strategy for this Alliance!

We ended the morning with a 10-2-0 record and Captain of Alliance! We chose Team 5712 Hemlock's Gray Matter and Team 5603 Western High School Robotics to join our alliance.

We are excited to have these three local small town teams take the field together this afternoon for playoffs! 🤖💪
