The conference is guided by five main themes:

1. Skill Development: students build and learn skills that they can use to achieve their full potential.

Identity Development: introduce students to concepts and structures that will strengthen their ethnic and/or racial identity.

2. Awareness of Others: these workshops are designed to increase students’ awareness, knowledge, and understanding related to race, ethnicity, and other differences of groups other than their own.

Registration for the annual Students of Color Conference is officially open! This year's conference will be held virtually April 30 - May 1, 2026 and is geared towards students within the 34 Washington Community & Technical Colleges. Workshop Proposals for Students of Color Conference 2026 are now LIVE!

This year's conference will be at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, Washington from Thursday, April 30, 2026 through Saturday, May 2, 2026. Our theme is, "Rooted in Resistance, Growing toward Liberation," and we are excited to hear the wisdom you all have to share with our students on these topics!
