This week’s comes from our Chief of Staff, Jackson Greene! Jackson served in our 2023-2024 class and has been in cabinet since then as well!

“Applying to Freshman Forum has been one of the most impactful decisions of my time at Auburn. It surrounded me with an incredible community of people I otherwise would have never met, all working toward a common goal the betterment of Auburn. Forum is an incredible opportunity to get connected, serve the university, and build lasting relationships.
“Some of these pictures capture just how meaningful those relationships have been for myself. I have had the opportunity to travel the world with friends I met through Forum, which really shows the lifelong connections this organization can create. Beyond the friendships, Forum has taught me so much about serving Auburn and has helped me develop valuable leadership and professional skills.
I highly encourage every freshman to apply for Freshman Forum. It truly is an experience like no other, and I cannot imagine my college experience without it.”

It’s a great day for a ! Today we get the treat of hearing from Cate Herring and Lucy Donovan, members of the 2024-2025 class who now serve together on our Outreach team!

“Freshman Forum was the perfect way to begin my time at Auburn because it not only equipped me with the tools to grow as a student and leader, but it also gave me one of my most meaningful friendships in Lucy! Through our friendship, Lucy has shown me what it truly means to put service above self. I have learned so much simply by watching the way she impacts Auburn and the people around her. She is always the first to ask the hard questions, recognize when something needs to be done, and step up to do it without seeking recognition. While I continue to see the lasting impact Freshman Forum has had on my life, one of the most tangible and meaningful examples is the friendship I gained with Lucy!“ - Cate

“Cate is one of the greatest gifts Freshman Forum gave me, though our friendship has long since grown beyond the bounds of Forum and college. She is the first person to show up when life is hard and the first person I call when something wonderful happens. Our friendship is marked by steadfastness! Through every season, Cate has taught me that the deepest friendships are not measured by time spent together, but by the certainty that no matter how busy life gets, you will continue walking alongside one another. I have no doubt that this friendship will outlast every title and chapter that first brought us together!” - Lucy

Happy Auburn family- our first of the summer! Today’s comes from Willis Orr, our current President of Auburn SGA. Willis has been a longtime member, first serving in the 2023-2024 Freshman Forum Class.

Willis says that “Freshman Forum was easily one of my favorite things I did my freshman year. It surrounded me with people who also cared deeply about working to better Auburn. Forum is a great way to serve your freshman class and learn how you can continue to serve Auburn throughout your time here. Auburn is all about community, and looking back on it, Freshman Forum was a true microcosm of the “Auburn family.” The friendships and mentors that I gained because of it continue to support, encourage, and push me to be the best Auburn Man that I can, even still to this day.“
