AU Chess club no longer meets as all the founding members have graduated and begun their careers. If you would like to keep AU Chess club active I encourage any and all of you to do so wherever and how ever is most productive for you. War Eagle!

Due to a lack of consensus the executive decision has been made to attempt a meeting Wednesday Evening at 6:00 PM. We will meet at the Momma G's on Thach. The meeting time/location can and is subject to change, so check here regularly. I hope to see as many of you there as possible. I will be attending the make up Presidents meeting tomorrow evening from 6:00-8:00 pm.

The Queen of Hearts tournament takes place the second weekend of February in Montgomery! If you are interested, comment and we can work out a carpool situation. Let's represent Auburn at Alabama's longest running chess tournament!

With a new semester and new schedules I'd like to take a poll to see what days of the week and when people can meet for a new chess club weekly meeting. Post day and time of when you can make it please

The World Chess Championship has been underway for a few days. I suggest that you try to view a live stream of at least one game. This is chess at its highest level and Anand and Carlsen are very evenly matched.
