🏈🏆 Congratulations to our fourth- and fifth-grade flag football tournament champions!

We’re proud of ALL our players for showing teamwork, giving their best, and demonstrating great sportsmanship throughout the tournament. From cheering on teammates to respecting opponents, our students showed what PICK PRIDE looks like on and off the field!

🚧👷 CAUTION: Future Builders at Work! 👷🚧

Mrs. Mills and her intern, Mrs. Bowerman, transformed learning into a Construction Zone Day: Building Our Future!

Our students rolled up their sleeves and put their skills to work! They:
📏 Took measurements and practiced multiplication in math
✏️ Learned how to build strong sentences
📝 Followed the steps to build creative writing pieces
🧰 Built their very own toolboxes, compliments of The Home Depot
🍪 And ended their busy construction day with a special treat!

What a fun way to bring learning to life across the curriculum! These students weren’t just building toolboxes, they were building skills for a successful future, one lesson at a time!

🧭 Quest Day 1: The Lost Compass!

Our students took on a quest filled with puzzles, teamwork, and challenges inspired by the 7 Habits. As they collected clues, they practiced working together and discovered an important message: “You are not finished. The quest continues.”

A big thank-you to our special teachers for guiding students through the adventure while our grade-level teachers met with administrators to discuss student data. Take a look at the fun in our Quest Day recap!

Poetry came to life in Mrs. Mills’ class! A special thank you to Officer Stroud for visiting and reading poetry to our students. We appreciate him taking the time to encourage a love of reading and learning!

Today we celebrated Constitution Day and Citizenship Day in a big way! Our students showed their patriotic spirit by wearing red, white, and blue, while Mrs. Reetz and Mrs. Daniels stepped back in time in their Revolutionary era attire to help bring history to life!

It was a fun day of celebrating our Constitution, our country, and the importance of being responsible citizens in our school and community. ❤️🤍💙
