On February 3rd, a group of students representing different organizations within the Auburn School District, led by JROTC students, attended a meeting with the Governor of Washington. The group included seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen.

The purpose of the meeting was to honor the support of our local government by presenting the Governor with a gift and discussing important topics such as funding, especially for our CTE and Microsoft programs, school safety, and how state government can help student-led organizations grow within our district and across the state.

The Governor was very pleased to meet the students, encouraged them to continue their good work, and expressed his appreciation.
After the meeting, the students met with local police chiefs and sheriffs to thank them for keeping our community safe.

They also visited the state senate and house chambers.

We appreciate the hard work of our student leaders. They are truly an inspiration to the student body, and we will continue striving to improve and grow.

Just wanted to add a little more about today’s promotion board. After seeing everyone step up, it’s clear how much dedication our cadets have. The confidence, the respect, and the way they carried themselves really stood out. Every uniform was clean, every detail was squared away, and everyone proved why they deserve to move forward. Super proud of all of them for representing our program with pride and professionalism.

Today we had our promotion board, and everyone absolutely crushed it. Every cadet came in looking sharp, uniforms clean and on point from head to toe. You could really see the effort and pride they put into preparing. Everyone carried themselves with confidence, answered their questions well, and showed real professionalism. Overall, it was a great day and a strong reminder of how hard our cadets work to represent our program the right way. Also big thanks to Jonie Mancilla and JohnJoel Jadormeo for coming here and helping us make this possible.

Our cadets showed up with sharp focus and proud spirits at the Veterans Day Parade. Every step in the marching block landed with purpose, the sabre team moved with smooth precision, and the color guard carried the colors with steady honor. Together, we brought a strong presence to the parade, showing respect to every veteran watching. It was a moment where all our hard work came alive, and we represented our program with pride.
