“Hey y’all! My name is Ella Proteau and I have the honor of serving as Delta Zeta’s Panhellenic Delegate! I’m a junior from Chicago and I am majoring in biomedical sciences on a pre-PA track. Being a Delta Zeta has made my college experience so much more meaningful, especially because DZ brought me my best friends in the entire world. My sisters are encouraging and kind, and they can make me laugh like no one else can. I am beyond blessed to have led this chapter this chapter this past year, and I am so grateful for the friendships DZ has brought me!“

Parents Weekend = Best Weekend! 💐

Parents Weekend gives Delta Zeta the chance to share our Auburn lives with the people who mean the most to us! This past Friday, we welcomed families to Crooked Oaks, where we shared great conversations, snapped pics, and danced the night away — all while raising nearly $1,000 for our philanthropy, Hearts for Hearing and Speech, through (a nonprofit that DJs for charity!). On Saturday, we kicked off game day with a tailgate right outside our chapter room — the perfect end to a weekend full of love, laughter, and sisterhood. 💗

Fall break gave us the best of memories! Let’s get back to business 📚🍂📖

“Hi lovelies! My name is Reagan Wilson and I could not be more honored and excited to be VP of Membership for the Beta Xi chapter of Delta Zeta at Auburn University. I am a sophomore Nursing major and I absolutely love it!!

Delta Zeta has been my saving grace and my biggest blessing since I arrived at Auburn. It has given me the sisters I never knew I needed and friendships that will last my lifetime. I strive to honor this position by providing the most positive recruitment experience possible and fostering greater sisterhood, retention, and love. I can’t wait for recruitment and PC’25!! I owe Delta Zeta and its girls my all and I intend to give them that!”

In honor of World Day of Hearing, lets HEAR Caylyn’s story🦻🏼

“Hey y’all my name is Caylyn Turner and I want to share my hearing loss experience and how it has affected my life and inspired me to help others!
 
Growing up I thought having the TV at max volume was normal, I thought crippling pain after swimming was just because I was prone to swimmers’ ear… I was wrong. I let this pain go on until I was 17 because I convinced myself it was nothing, but one quick trip to the audiologist let us know something was seriously wrong and I was going to need surgery. In December of 2024 I had a Double Tympanoplasty so that she could take skin grafts and build me new eardrums. When I woke up from surgery, I knew that I wanted to help people just like this and so I declared my Major as Speech Language and Hearing Sciences.
 
It wasn’t until I got to Delta Zeta that I realized I could take my experience and use it for good! This sorority supported helping people in the way I aspired to, so I interviewed for the philanthropy assistant position, and I got it! Since I was blessed with this position I have worked to promote our Houndz for Hearing event which allows us to give back to families who are also struggling with speech and hearing disorders. Through my major I will eventually be working in the AU speech and hearing clinic with real patients. I’m happy that I can take my story and use it to help others, and I can’t wait to see what else I can do for good to support this community!”
