Our M.A.K. family is heartbroken by the sudden loss of one of our own, Kenny Weagle, the beloved father of Lexie and Lana.

During this incredibly difficult time, we’d like to come together to support Christine, Lexie, and Lana in any way we can. One simple way to help is by providing meal assistance so Christine can focus on being with her girls without the added stress of preparing dinner.

We’ve created a meal train calendar for anyone who would like to sign up to provide a meal. If your schedule doesn’t allow you to participate but you’d still like to help, gift cards are also greatly appreciated and may be given to any of the instructors at the school.

Thank you for keeping the Weagle family in your thoughts and prayers and for showing the kindness, compassion, and strength that make our M.A.K. family so special. Every gesture, no matter how small, will mean so much during this difficult time. ❤️

The first of our summer theme weeks starts tomorrow! We’re kicking things off with Crazy Uniforms! What creation will you come up with? We can’t wait to see 😊. Just make sure you’ll be able to move around in whatever you wear.

Everyone attending classes thru the Friday before our annual picnic will get a ticket. Anyone who dresses for the theme will get an extra ticket. Make sure you save them so that you can use them for the raffle that will be taking place at the picnic … we’ll have some great items for you to try and win 😉

It’s time for the first stripe test of our new cycle!

~ Wednesday, June 24th thru Saturday, June 27th ~

Come to class in full uniform (shorts are acceptable with your Gi top for the summer). Karate Kids will need their S.T.A.R.S. sheet.

And just like that, the first half of the IPPONE LLC season wrapped up at today’s Friendship Tournament in S**o, ME!

It was a good day for our Waveriders team as they wanted to finish strong before the summer break.

🏆 Sensei Sabrina: 2nd in weapons and forms
🏆 Sensei Hunter: 4th in weapons and finalist in forms
🏆 Lexie: 4th in weapons and finalist in forms
🏆 Jackson: 1st in flag sparring, finalist in forms, and 3rd in sparring

Congrats to all who competed! We know you’ll be working hard the next couple of months as you prepare to return to the circuit in the fall.
