Shelby County Bands

We had a beautiful sky to play under and tiny stands to squeeze into tonight at Marbury. Pictures were hard to come by tonight as there was no elbow room in a packed out guest side.

Tonight Mr. Martindale wants to shout out the whole clarinet section for having the forethought to load the front ensemble into the trailer without being told. Thanks, girls!

Camp Wildcat peprally

Band Camp 2026 is over. Rookies had a new experience that hopefully helped them grow and our seniors have mixed emotions as one chapter in their book of high school ends. Their first pep rally begins shortly as they welcome new freshmen to SCHS and their first field performance will be Saturday, August 15 at Cardinal and White Day.

Week 2 band camp: From rookie 7th graders to seasoned seniors, 70+ band members donned their sunscreen and tried to ignore the camera lady as she interrupted their set to snag a few pictures.

As we wrap up day 1 of week 3 of band camp, here are a few group pics of kids working hard in the crazy heat of the last week of July. Practice hard, PoSC kids and you'll bring home all the superiors this October!
