Two weeks ago, these three kids played three songs to bring the Camp of Rock experience to Florida. Two of them, along with 3 other kids, also played a solo to showcase what they’ve learned after just a few months of lessons. I closed the show out by playing “Dreams” by Van Halen—one of the first songs I ever played in public back when I was in High School. Special thanks to these kids’ parents for being a part of this very first session—you’ll forever be known as the Camp of Rock Florida OG’s, as the program grows going forward. And a big shout out to Dog Rose Brewing Co. for hosting us! There were lots of smiles that day, and everyone in the place looked like they were having a blast—whether they were expecting music that day or not. We’ll be back, for sure!

We’ve been fairly quiet over here this summer, but have no fear—we’ve been working and doing a lot of great things. We’ll have plenty more to share soon enough. But this right here makes us very proud.

Summer Lessons, Little Rockers, and Back To School Band start up NEXT WEEK, not to mention Academy of Rock auditions, too! Camp of Rock still has spots left, too, and youre not gonna want to miss their 20th session! We may not have been posting a lot lately, but there’s been a lot of behind the scenes planning taking place! If you’ve registered already, be on the lookout for an email coming out tomorrow. Get registered for Camp of Rock and then come fill out an application for a partial scholarship! The early registration deadline is TOMORROW (May 15), but they'll extend that deadline for people who are registered, have their deposit paid, and have an application filled out by midnight on May 30! Time to register for the 2025 GFAMM Summer Program!! The block of 6 private or small group lessons will take place from mid June to early July. Camp of Rock takes place M-F during the weeks of July 7 and 14, from 8:30am-4pm, concluding with the Big Show on Friday, July 18 at Lost Valley. That show will also feature Little Rockers and Back To School Band, which will meet from mid-June through the two weeks of Camp of Rock. Click below to register, and message us with questions!

Registration opens up THIS WEEK for our 2025 Summer programs! Now that April vacation is behind us, there’s one more push for the end of the school year. There’s plenty for your kids to get involved with this summer, though, from our Private and Small Group Lessons program, to Little Rockers, Back To School Band, and Camp of Rock! Kid on a Zoom lesson had something to share in between songs during his lesson today. He said “I have this game that’s designed for building things, and I decided to build this. Took me an hour and a half.” Love it! Best part is that he can play the song this was inspired by!

SUMMER PROGRAM UPDATE! It’s looking like the GFAMM Summer Program will take place during the weeks of June 16, 23, and early the week of June 30, so things are wrapped up before July 4. We may actually start up after school during the week of June 9 to avoid any conflict during the week of the 4th, so stay tuned. This includes the Private and Small Group Lessons program, Little Rockers, and Back To School Band. Camp of Rock will take place during the two weeks of July 7 and July 14.

We know when Camp of Rock will be meeting—now it’s time to nail down dates for the GFAMM Summer Lessons Program, Little Rockers, and Back To School Band. One date you should mark down is the Big End of Camp Show on Friday, July 18, at Lost Valley! I love celebrating milestones, and this is Camp of Rock’s 20th session! It’s gonna be a party!

Looks like I’ll be up in June to get the GFAMM Summer Lesson Program running, with Little Rockers, Back To School Band, amd private and small group lessons taking place in June and early July, and Camp of Rock XX meeting in July, during the two weeks after the July 4 holiday. Stay tuned!
