The Margaret Murphy Centers for Children MMCC provides educational and clinical treatment services to children and young adults (birth to age 22) with special education needs in Maine.

We have Centers in Auburn, Lewiston, Randolph, S**o and Brunswick.

Calling all volunteers! Many of you have reached out to see if help is needed as we unpack and move into Memorial.

YES, YES it is!
We will be hosting an open call to volunteers from 11-4 this Wednesday!

If you can help, bring a box cutter or scissors…. we have many boxes to open and shrink wrap to unshrink🤣.

Strawberry Avenue opened with smashing success…. so now we turn to the Memorial addition! Furniture assembly is kicked into high gear!

Tomorrow is going to be a very exciting day! We welcome our pre-k childcare students and current prek-2nd grade students to our new school!
Then, we begin the countdown to the following week when we welcome five brand new students!
What an amazing September we have to look forward to.

We hosted a “soft” Open House on Friday evening for our students that arrive tomorrow and their reactions could not have been more magical.

We would like to give a very special thank you to Clyde, Richard, Sarah, Ashley, Teasha, Alex, Branden, Michelle, Mike, Eric, Jake, Hailey and Melinda for helping to make this space so very special for our students.

Thanks to Drew, Jason and AJ in IT for getting our tech up and ready!

Thank you to our Strawberry Ave teachers and clinicians who moved on Friday to set up student and staff spaces.

We have exciting news!
Our strawberry Avenue location will welcome current students on August 31st. New students will join on September 8th.

Current families will receive an invitation for an open house next Friday!

Memorial is expected to receive occupancy approval on Monday and the moving begins! We expect students to begin attending our new addition in late September!
