ATAP offers 40-50 workshops each year across a variety of transportation-related topics.

The program also manages a safety technical assistance program (STACC), the Annual Alabama Transportation Conference and the Alabama Road Safety Conference.

During this course, best practices for asphalt pavement construction and inspection will be discussed. Topics include work zone safety, surface preparation, mix delivery, segregation, asphalt placement, smoothness, and compaction.
