We are overjoyed to welcome Mr. Gary Harding to the Holy Family School community as the new PE teacher and Athletics Director. Please see Mr. Hardings introduction message below.

I wanted to introduce myself as your incoming PE teacher at Holy Family this fall. Joining this community is incredibly meaningful to me; my family lives in Maple Valley, and our two children attended Holy Family from fifth through eighth grade before moving on to Kennedy Catholic. As a Catholic family, we know firsthand how special and supportive this school truly is.

My path to the gym is a bit non-traditional, driven by a desire to serve. I am an engineer by education and spent 27 years in the corporate world—including roles working on rockets and nuclear power plants. While I loved those technical challenges, I felt a strong calling over the past year to transition into teaching and give back to the next generation.

I’ve always believed that “health is wealth.” Staying active is a massive part of my life, and when I’m not working, you can usually find me mountain biking, watching my daughter play volleyball, cheering on my son at basketball, or at home with our two cats. I’m also a massive LEGO fan with an entire room dedicated to building!

This fall, my goal is to make PE an encouraging, inclusive, and joyful part of your children’s day. Whether we are doing imaginative movement in the primary grades or diving into physiology, nutrition, and sports strategy in middle school, the focus will always be on mutual respect and caring for the body God has given us.
I am truly honored to join the staff and can’t wait to meet you all this fall.

We are overjoyed to welcome Mrs. Christy Fisher to the Holy Family School community as the Director of our Early Learning Center. Please see Mrs. Fisher’s introduction message below.

My name is Christy Fisher, and I am excited to be joining this school community. I have spent the last 15 years working in elementary education. I am excited to create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired. I look forward to getting to know the families, students, and staff at Holy Family and I believe that the heart of great schools is built through strong relationships.

Prior to working in schools, I worked in orthodontic offices around the U.S. while my husband was enlisted in the Marines. I began my career in education when my 2 boys entered elementary school and haven't regretted the decision one bit. In fact, I am a current student at Eastern New Mexico University studying School Counseling.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I enjoy running and crafting as a means of self-care and creative outlet and expression. I have a crazy Belgian Malinois that we rescued a few years ago named Fern that keeps me on my toes and reminds me when I haven't had her out running. I am excited for this journey ahead and look forward to meeting new people.
