SEEDS OF RESEARCH: Student's research explores how farmers use risk management strategies

As farmers navigate rising costs and uncertain markets, Auburn Ph.D. student Bridget Yeboah Bafowaa is researching risk management strategies available to support farm income and stabilize the economic well-being of U.S. agricultural producers.

The Ghana native is one of the first recipients of a $5,000 Agricultural Enhancement & Seed Funding Program grant from the Alabama Agricultural Experiment Station.
