Why BYX Wednesday with Michael Bergin

Michael is a senior from Cu***ng, Georgia. He is also currently in the Naval ROTC program.

“I joined BYX because of the amazing community that it has brought to my life. I have met some of my best friends and brothers who help me grow in my faith and life. The Lord has done amazing things in my life since joining BYX and it has been a blessing to watch.“

BEACH VOLLEYBALL COMING SOON!

Start making your teams for our King of the Beach volleyball tournament. We will be doing teams of 6. Each team must contain 3 girls and 3 boys. We hope to see you there!

What a blessing this week has been for the Omega Chapter of BYX!

We are excited to welcome in 4 new brothers into this fraternity. For the past 8 weeks, these men have put in the work and grown in their relationship with Christ and with one another.

We also had a very successful Black Light Party thanks to and .music We could not have had it any better without yall.

Finishing off the week, we had our alumni weekend and hosted our National Leadership Consulting to help develop our officers.

Josh is a junior from Birmingham, Alabama. He is currently majoring in landscape architecture.

“I found BYX through my close friend and pledge brother Grant Eller who invited me to our Lake Day rush event. The guys were super welcoming and seemed cool, so I came back for Wings and Worship. After seeing all these guys from different walks of life gathered in worship together I knew I needed to be here. BYX has pushed me and helped me grow in my faith and mature as time has gone by. I have some of the greatest friends I’ll ever have and some of the best memories of my life. This place has been such a blessing through my time at Auburn!“

Brandon is a freshman from Metuchen, New Jersey. He is currently majoring in economics.

“By the time I had gotten to Auburn, my faith had fallen pretty stagnant, and I knew that I needed to surround myself with other Christians to get back on track. I had previously heard about BYX over the summer, but I wasn’t sure if it was the right place for me because I didn’t consider myself to be the fraternity type. Despite my reservations, I went to a rush event and became a pledge, and I quickly realized that Beta Upsilon Chi is special because it is accepting of everyone, no matter the race, background, personality, or anything that makes someone think they’re an outlier. I found a family here, and I say this without any exaggeration, this fraternity saved my life.“

Why BYX Wednesday with Grant Eller

Grant is from Birmingham, Alabama, and he is currently a junior who is majoring in nursing.

“Going into college I wanted to find a community where I could grow as both a person and a Christian. BYX has shown me this is possible through a fraternity. Through BYX I have gotten to meet my best friends in college, get involved on campus, and grow as a leader all while becoming stronger in my faith.”
