Congratulations, Katie! We are proud that you are an alumni of the ADED program

My experience and coursework from the Master’s degree in Adult Education have been invaluable. I work full-time as an Academic Advisor in the College of Sciences and Mathematics at Auburn University and have been in this role for over 10 years. My skills learned from ADED have helped me organize and create a more streamlined training manual for the Academic Advisors in our Student Services office and pre-trip orientation materials for study abroad programs that I lead annually. I also have been teaching watercolor and acrylic painting professional development opportunities for the local adult community and here on campus for the Auburn University Advisors and Counselors Caucus (AUACC). I’m so grateful for the faculty in the Adult Ed program who are genuinely excited about education and helping prepare their students for real-world applicability and impact.
