Auburn BackPack Program Fighting Hunger......Feeding Kids The BackPack Program provides backpacks filled with food to students in need of food over the weekend.

The program primarily targets students who qualify for their school’s Free Lunch Program. Many of these students rely on their school’s breakfasts and lunches for their most nutritious meals of the day. In some cases, these are their only meals of the day. These students are then faced with a food crisis over the weekend. The BackPack Program is a way to help these students and their families until students return to school on Monday.

Today was a day! 😂 Our first food truck of the school year rolled in, and we called in the “scooter gang” 🤪 and a few others to help unload ❤️ The truck was an hour late, and some of the boys had to leave to get ready for the parade, but we made it work!

Thank you, gentlemen, for giving up your time to help! We appreciate you more than you know! ❤️ AND thank you Ralph for the sonic treats!

We want to express our sincere gratitude for the many friends that stopped at our booth today at the Brownville Flea Market! I have attached some photos of the wonderful people who wanted to know more about our program, purchased a bowl and left a donation! It was great to have a surprise visit from our dear friend, John Mabry, from the Lincoln Food Bank! The Auburn Backpack Program can continue our mission to provide weekend meals with the support from all of you!!
