As we officially kick off another year of DOGS Academy today, we can clearly see how lucky we are to have community supporters like Lifetime Vision Center - Auburn! 👓🐾❤️

Earlier this summer, Lifetime Vision Center hosted a BBQ fundraiser and chose DOGS Academy as the recipient of the proceeds—donating nearly $700 to our program!

We are incredibly grateful for businesses and community members who believe in what we’re doing and choose to invest in our kids. Their generosity helps us continue creating opportunities for our students to discover, grow and serve throughout the year.

Judging by those glasses, I think our DOGS kids have a pretty clear vision of what community support looks like! 😂👓

Our partnership with the Nemaha County Extension Office truly kept us moving this summer. Everyday the kids embraced walking club (some ran) and we kept track of all their mileage. We truly walked across America this summer and learned about several of the stops along the way! Original Goal: 1400 Miles!

To say we are proud of these kids and all their hard work is an understatement. Way to go DOGS!
