As we officially kick off another year of DOGS Academy today, we can clearly see how lucky we are to have community supporters like Lifetime Vision Center - Auburn! 👓🐾❤️

Earlier this summer, Lifetime Vision Center hosted a BBQ fundraiser and chose DOGS Academy as the recipient of the proceeds—donating nearly $700 to our program!

We are incredibly grateful for businesses and community members who believe in what we’re doing and choose to invest in our kids. Their generosity helps us continue creating opportunities for our students to discover, grow and serve throughout the year.

Judging by those glasses, I think our DOGS kids have a pretty clear vision of what community support looks like! 😂👓

THANK YOU, Lifetime Vision Center and all of the community supporters who helped make this possible! ❤️🖤🐾

Now we’ve got our sights set on a GREAT year of DOGS Academy!

Our partnership with the Nemaha County Extension Office truly kept us moving this summer. Everyday the kids embraced walking club (some ran) and we kept track of all their mileage. We truly walked across America this summer and learned about several of the stops along the way! Original Goal: 1400 Miles!

To say we are proud of these kids and all their hard work is an understatement. Way to go DOGS!

So thankful for the partnership with Auburn Memorial Library! They truly put on some incredible summer programs that our kids can participate in. Weekly walks to check out books, Wildlife Enounters, Dinosaur Exploration and Store Day to reward all their reading efforts.

Field Trips allowed us to embrace everything DOGS stands for: Discovery, Opportunity, Growth and Service. Thank you parents for allowing us to take your kids on some fun adventures. Also Thank you to our amazing bus drivers with Auburn Public Schools - District #29 for embracing the adventures with us.
