Now is the time to start making plans to attend our College of Agriculture Career Fair on Thursday, February 13, from 3:00 pm -6:00 pm at the Auburn University Alumni Center. We have 29 companies coming to campus to recruit YOU! Dress for the event is Business Attire, be sure to bring copies of your resumes. For a complete listing of companies click here—you can learn more about what majors they are recruiting for and for what type of positions. All students are invited to attend this event –whether you are looking for an internship, full-time position, or you just want to see what opportunities are out there ---it’s a great opportunity to network with some our alum! The seminar is entitled “Innovation for CRISPR, NGS, qPCR, and Synthetic Biology by Integrated DNA Technologies” and will feature a Dr. Mitchell Gore, Field Application Manager with Integrated DNA Technologies. The seminar will take place on Friday, January 31 at 12:00 pm in 207 Comer Hall. This seminar is open to all majors and would be of particular interests to students wanting to learn more about research and biotechnology.

Students interested in attending law school are invited to attend the Law School Fair on Thursday, January 30 from 10 am -2 pm in AU Student Center Ballrooms. This event is FREE to all Auburn students and is an excellent opportunity for students considering law school to speak with visiting law school representatives from approximately 80 law schools from across the country. Dress is casual.

It’s the spring semester --- have you made your plans for Spring Break? If not –we encourage you to consider this awesome trip! The college is planning its second College of Agriculture Spring Break Trip scheduled for March 8-13, 2020. An information session about the trip will take place on January 23 at 4 pm in 109 Comer Hall. On this trip you can expect to see a diverse range of agricultural and related operations throughout the state of Alabama that go well beyond production sites. Undergraduate research is an opportunity for you to delve into your interests and create new theories, discover previously unknown facts, and even cultivate new ideas. Students may apply for year-long, summer and semester-long fellowships Eligible students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better, and have time to complete the fellowship before graduation. The College of Agriculture will once again be taking a day trip to the International Production and Processing Expo (IPPE) on January 29, 2020 in Atlanta, GA. The International Production & Processing Expo is the world's largest annual poultry, meat and feed industry event of its kind. A wide range of international decision-makers attend this annual event to network and become informed on the latest technological developments and issues facing the industry.
