Mindz on the Move I'm a dedicated math and ELA tutor with 10 years of experience helping kids build confidence and skills. Hi everyone! I am Lauren and I love to teach!

I offer friendly, personalized online tutoring via Zoom for elementary through high school students. I also am a soccer player and love going to the gym. I love the outdoors and to read! I am excited to connect with you soon!

We were working on adding and subtracting decimals when she randomly started rapping! 😂

When students feel comfortable, they’re more willing to have fun while learning. We ended up completing her entire IXL assignment while rapping, laughing, and practicing math!

I think I officially have a new student 🐶

Meet Sadie!

She climbed up next to us during tutoring and then sat there completely still for SO long just watching everything we were doing. She was taking this lesson VERY seriously. 😂

Meanwhile, I could not stop laughing every time I looked up at her sitting there like she was ready to learn too!

Safe to say Sadie is now officially part of Mindz on the Move.💛📚

“I hate math.”

I’ve heard this from SO many students over the years.

But sometimes, a child doesn’t actually hate math. They hate feeling confused, frustrated, or like they’re “bad” at it.

Math doesn’t have to be sitting at a desk doing problem after problem. It can be games, movement, cooking, sports, puzzles, money, building, and so much more.

Math is everywhere!

Sometimes we just need to help kids experience it differently, build their confidence, and remind them that making mistakes is part of learning. 💛

Online tutoring is a great option for students in grades 3 and up. With the right online tools, learning can be more flexible, consistent, and accessible no matter where you are.

Technology is already a big part of today’s classrooms, and tutoring provides an opportunity for students to learn how to use those tools effectively to support their growth. Through interactive online resources, students can build confidence, strengthen their skills, and stay engaged in their learning.

Education doesn’t have to be limited by location. With modern technology, meaningful learning can happen from anywhere.
