Rising Stars Scholarship

The NRF Foundation Rising Stars Scholarship awards one freshman or sophomore from each NRF Foundation Member University (Auburn is one) a $1,000 travel stipend to attend the 2020 NRF Foundation Student Program in New York in January 2020.

Two NYC Fall Internship Opportunities
1) Retrofête is looking for Fall Interns in the NYC office. Retrofête is the in-house brand of Mint Showroom. Logistics Internship:
Requirements:
- Currently studying in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or another relevant area.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Eager to learn and improve processes.
- A genuine interest in operations and how the logistics industry works.
- Excellent communication skills.

2) Mint Showroom is a contemporary/resort wear fashion showroom representing multiple established international clothing brands. Mint Showroom is searching for an energetic, ambitious, fabulous, fashion-loving showroom interns!

APPAREL MERCHANDISING STUDENTS:

If you plan to do your mandatory internship (CADS 4920) in the Spring, Summer, or Fall 2020 semester, .

1. The first thing you need to do to apply for the internship credit, CADS 4920 (8 credit hours), is to READ THOROUGHLY the Apparel Merchandising (AM) Internship Guide, which is on our department website: http://www.humsci.auburn.edu/apparel/merchintern.php

This AM Internship Guide explains the application procedure, requirements, forms, and tips for searching for internship positions, and requirements for the internship credit.

2. The first form to submit is the “intent to intern form” which is due on October 15, 2019 (access the form on the AM Internship Guide website).

3. Then, you must submit your COMPLETED internship APPLICATION PACKET – PART 1 and PART 2 ELECTRONICALLY (each part in a single PDF file) via email to Dr. Kwon ([email protected]) by no later than one month before the internship or internship semester begins, whichever sooner. PAPER COPIES of application packet are NOT ACCEPTED.

Refer to the AM Internship Guide for the forms that must be included in the Application Packet Part 1 and Part 2.

2.0 gapped gpa Completed CADS 3850 (C or better) Departmental approval Completion of CADS 5850 is highly recommended, but not required.
