☀️ Exciting Playground Improvement at O'Brien Child Development Center! ☀️

We are excited to share the completion of our new playground shade structure! This large covered area will help keep children cooler and more comfortable while enjoying outdoor play and learning activities.

To make outdoor time even more enjoyable during the warm Auburn summer months, we have also added a misting system to provide additional cooling throughout the day.

At O'Brien Child Development Center, we are always looking for ways to improve our environment and invest in the children and families we serve. We can't wait for our children to enjoy this new space!

Hello everyone,

My name is Donald Koenig, and I am the owner of O’Brien Child Development Center in Auburn. I normally avoid responding to online rumors or anonymous comments, but after seeing ongoing misinformation being shared publicly, I felt it was important to speak directly myself.

Our center has served families in this community for more than 20 years. Like many long-standing businesses, we have experienced staffing changes and challenges over time, especially during the past year. However, we are proud of the dedicated team we currently have in place and the positive direction our center is moving.

O’Brien Child Development Center continues to operate as a licensed childcare facility under California Community Care Licensing, and like all licensed centers, our inspections and reports are public information. We remain committed to providing a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for the children and families we serve.

I understand that people may have questions after reading online comments. I simply encourage families to visit the center, meet our staff, and form their own opinions based on what they see firsthand today.
