Junior Achievement of Washington

Junior Achievement is dedicated to helping young people reach economic success.

JA programs teach vital skills in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship through age-appropriate curriculum for K-12 students. Junior Achievement of Washington provides hands-on, age appropriate educational economic programming to students in grades K - 12. JA programs are taught by a volunteer by the local business community and are provided at no cost to the schools. JA's programs are designed to help provide critical economic education at every grade level and work in a sequential nature to help ensure comprehension and competency

JA World provides JA BizTown for our Elementary capstone program and JA Finance Park for the middle grades capstone program. High school students also participate in JA Finance Park for a "Budget Challenge", a one-day event.

Last Friday, the Tyee High School Class of 2030 visited Junior Achievement of Washington for a day of hands-on learning focused on financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Students explored real-world skills, discovered future career pathways, and gained valuable tools to help them succeed in high school and beyond.

We can't wait to see everything they accomplish in the years ahead!

🏈 Junior Achievement of Washington is honored to be selected as a Spirit of 12 Partner, joining 12 incredible nonprofit organizations across the Northwest dedicated to strengthening our communities.

Last week, our team had the opportunity to volunteer at Seattle Seahawks Training Camp, helping sell yearbooks alongside fellow community partners. It was an inspiring day celebrating teamwork, leadership, and the impact we can make when we invest in the next generation.

Last week Junior Achievement of Washington was proud to once again partner with the Seattle Mariners by providing volunteers for the 50/50 Raffle. Proceeds from ticket sales benefited both the Mariners Care Foundation and Junior Achievement of Washington. We are grateful to everyone who volunteered and helped make the event a success.
