🌿 We celebrated National Herb Day on June 10th at our annual Garden to Glass Herb Workshop, held this year at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center in Headland!

Participants spent the afternoon exploring the many uses of herbs, from growing them in the garden to preserving and cooking with them in the kitchen. Megan Jones, Home Horticulture Extension Agent, hosted the event and shared tips for successfully growing herbs, while Bridgette Brannon, Food Safety Agent, demonstrated how to dehydrate and cook with herbs.

Attendees also had the chance to create their own herb drying rack to take home and enjoy for seasons to come.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of learning, creativity, and celebrating the wonderful world of herbs! 🌿
