David Le won the adaptive 50 freestyle and the adaptive 50 backstroke earning the title of 2023 3A State Champion in the adaptive 50. This is the second year in a row that David has been State Champion in both events🏆

Join the City of Auburn for a Parade of Champions and Rally!

Auburn Mayor Nancy Backus and the Auburn City Council will be honoring the winter athletic champions from our three high schools on Monday, March 21 at 5 p.m. in the City Hall Plaza.

Please join us to congratulate our young athletes on their athletic accomplishments during the winter sports season. They have brought much pride and happiness to our collective community. We will be honoring:

Brennon Sikora swims the 100 Yard Butterfly at the State Championship meet. Achieving a new school record with a time of 51.94.

Auburn Mountainveiw High School takes 8th place at the 2022 3A State Championship breaking 5 more school records in the process. Official record videos will be posted a bit later.

Cameron Sikora, Dylan Chang, Brennon Sikora, And Trace Davidson Smith place 6th in the 200 Medley Relay, earning a new school record of 1:38.41.

David Le won the adaptive 50 freestyle and the adaptive 50 backstroke earning the title of 2022 3A State Champion in the adaptive 50. 🏆

Brennon Sikora takes 10th place in the 100 butterfly earning a new school record of 51.94.

Trace Davidson Smith takes 9th place in the 100 freestyle.

Cameron Sikora, Dylan Chang, Brennon Sikora, And Trace Davidson Smith place 6th in the in the 200 Freestyle Relay, earning a new school record of 1:28.54.

Dylan Chang takes 12th place in the 100 breaststroke.

Cameron Sikora, Dylan Chang, Brennon Sikora, And Trace Davidson Smith place 9th in the in the 400 Freestyle Relay, earning a new school record of 3:16.98.

Additionally, because Brennon Sikora was the first swimmer in the 400 FR he has also broken the 100 freestyle school record with a time of 47.73.

Boys Swim makes Finals in 6 events. As well as breaking 4 school records. Looking forward to finals tomorrow at 1:30pm. Record videos will be posted after tomorrow.

Auburn Mountainview Lions make a big splash at the West Central District III Championship and take 3rd overall. Making state for all events they swam in finals.

With the event breakdown looking like:
2nd in the 200 yard Medley Relay
2nd in the 100 yard Butterfly
3rd in the 100 yard Freestyle
2nd in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay
5th in the 100 yard Backstroke
2nd in the 100 yard Breaststroke
2nd in the 400 yard Freestyle Relay
