There were lots of smiles around campus today as we wrapped up another incredible school year at AJHS. The buses have rolled, the hallways are quiet, and the 2025–2026 school year has officially come to an end.
This year was filled with growth, accomplishments, memories, challenges overcome, laughter, learning, and moments that reminded us just how special this school community is. We are so proud of our students, thankful for our teachers and staff, and grateful for the support of our families and community throughout the year.
To our rising 9th graders, we cannot wait to welcome you back next year. To our incoming 8th graders, we are excited for you to join the AJHS family this fall. And to our 9th graders moving on to Auburn High School, we are so proud of you and cannot wait to see all that you accomplish next.
We hope everyone has a safe, restful, and wonderful summer. Thank you for a great year, AJHS.

Today was Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! Our AJHS paraprofessionals are essential parts of our educational community, helping support both students and teachers. We appreciate their dedication and enthusiasm so much!

Today we had the opportunity to celebrate our incredible AJHS bus drivers with some treats as a small thank you for all they do for our students each day.
Our bus drivers are often the first and last faces our students see during the school day, and they play such an important role in creating a safe, positive start and finish to each day. Rain or shine, early mornings and long afternoons, they consistently show up for our students and families.
We are grateful for the care, patience, and commitment they bring to getting our students to and from school safely every single day!

A huge thank you to Auburn Oil for supporting our students through their Spring book drive!
Because of their generosity, AJHS received a collection of books for our 8th and 9th grade students, helping put more engaging reading opportunities into the hands of our kids. Community partnerships like this make a real difference, and we are grateful for their investment in local students and literacy.

A huge thank you to Chick-fil-A (Drive-Thru Only location) for hosting an amazing Community-Based Instruction experience for Mrs. Huval’s and Mrs. Holder’s classes!
Students got a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to work at Chick-fil-A by delivering drive-thru orders, making Chick-n-Minis, and learning to use the ice cream machine.
We are so thankful for community partners who provide meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities for our students!
