We wrapped September up with a game of operation on our computes! We compared different computer parts to parts of the human body then took them apart to find them. Now that we have a better understanding of how the computer works we will be heading into our programming curriculum this month!

Another great week in Computer Science! This week the kids learned; different computer parts and how they enter data into and from the CPU. Then we built our favorite computer parts!

1st and 2nd graders accepting the challenge of building a structure that had two constraints...must be taller than the cup and must be strong enough to hold our robots book! Although the students learned about the designed cycle and what an engineer is, the main objective was how we deal with frustration! The students did an amazing job of “taking deep breaths” and “not giving up”!!
