Over 600 people attended yesterday's Multicultural Night!

Today, the grade levels at our school who donated the most food to the Auburn School District #408 food drive were rewarded with Popsicles, extra recess and a chance to spray our principal with silly string!

Congratulations to Mr. Moyer, Family Engagement Liaison, for being chosen as ASD's employee of the month! - Mr. Moyer cares deeply for our students and families. He is a cheerful presence in our community, and does a wonderful job of supporting partnerships between Pioneer and families.

At Monday's meeting, the ASD Board of Directors will recognize Nolan Moyer, family engagement liaison at Pioneer, as the outstanding staff member of the month. Congratulations Nolan!

Congratulations to Eva Millan, Pioneer’s Teacher of the Year!

In her third year of teaching (all at Pioneer), Eva’s impact reaches beyond her classroom. She helps strengthen our schoolwide reading culture through Beanstack implementation, supported the launch of ASD’s Reading Bowl, and serves as a 3rd grade PLC+ Activator.

Eva brings high expectations and strong classroom structures that help students persevere and achieve. She is also an active member of Pioneer’s Equity Team, has participated in district learning through the Auburn Equity Leadership Academy and is involved in coaching and mentoring student athletes. Thank you, Eva!

Congratulations to Karin Ode, Pioneer’s Classified Employee of the Year!

Karin leads our front office with professionalism, kindness, and strong follow-through, helping Pioneer run smoothly every day. Families, district leaders, and visitors consistently share how welcomed and supported they feel when they walk into our office—Karin sets that tone.

Her leadership strengthens our school culture and supports our equity work by helping ensure all families and students feel they belong and are valued. Karin serves beyond Pioneer through district-level office professional committees and can be frequently seen cheering on Pioneer at community events. Thank you, Karin!

Congratulations TJ! - TJ is an outstanding example of the Pioneer PATH, leading by example through his kindness, responsibility, and positive attitude while consistently demonstrating growth in academics and music. His dedication to basketball, strong sportsmanship, and commitment to his “Never Give Up” mindset make him a respected leader and a source of pride for our school community.
