Auburn University continues to invest in the infrastructure that makes innovation possible.

The Board of Trustees approved a 77-acre expansion of The Park, bringing the total size to just over 240 acres.

The Park’s new Advanced Manufacturing Research District, starting with the Auburn RFID Lab, will create more opportunities for private-sector partners to work side-by-side with Auburn research facilities. The boundaries between industry, academia and government are disappearing. That's exactly what's needed to address our national security challenges, and what's happening at the Tennessee Valley Corridor National Summit. On the Ensuring National Security panel today, Jonathan Pettus, executive director of Auburn University's Applied Research Institute in Huntsville, highlighted a critical reality: developing the workforce of tomorrow requires immersing students in high-impact, real-world projects today. Auburn is leading that effort by connecting students, researchers and partners to mission-focused work.

Wondering about all the construction in Auburn Research Park? It’s the start of the new 45-acre advanced manufacturing district adjacent to Auburn University’s campus.
