Parents, it is never too early to start modeling and teaching your child independence during meals and snacks. While they don't need to master these skills immediately, you should demonstrate how to safely open food and drinks. If they happen to spill something, that’s perfectly okay! It provides a fantastic opportunity to teach them other important skills, such as notifying an adult right away when there's a mess and learning how to clean it up.

If your child will be riding the bus to AM preschool in the morning or riding the bus home from PM preschool, you need to complete these forms in PowerSchool.Please note that this is for bus transportation for country and out-of-town riders.
Questions- please ask.

If your child needs bus transportation, please log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal and complete the Transportation Form as soon as possible. This helps our transportation team plan accurate routes and ensures your child is set for pick-up on the first day of school.

In just ten minutes, you can go on a treasure walk and talk.

Head outside with your child to your yard or a local park carrying a small paper or plastic bag. Look for small natural “treasures” and add them to the bag. Focus on things that are already on the ground, so you don’t pick living things. Some ideas for your treasures are a blade of grass, a small stick, a pebble, a leaf, or a pinecone. Once you have gathered several things, sit down and remove one item from your bag. Describe the color, the texture, and the size of the object. Talk about the location where you found it. Take turns with your child talking about each treasure.
