Matthew also recently accepted a full time job for with Persons Service Corp., as he is graduating from the Building Science program here at Auburn.

Last week at chapter we were blessed to host Mrs. RaeAnn Gruver, the mother of Max Gruver who tragically passed in a hazing incident at LSU in 2017. We want thank Mrs. Gruver for coming and sharing Max’s story with us, and for sharing the continued work and effort put into the Max Gruver Foundation that works every day to bring awareness, education, and the legislation to stop hazing in fraternities and other student organizations. Thank you Mrs. Gruver for coming and sharing this positive and impactful message with our chapter!

On November 15th, our fall new member class traveled to Columbus, GA to serve a family affected by ALS. They landscaped, painted, pressure washed, and cleaned up the property. This was our first trip to Columbus and we are so grateful for the opportunity to help our community. We would like to thank the Clickners for their continued support as our chapter moves one step closer to leaving ALS better than we found it. We’ll be back soon!

On Homecoming Weekend, Alabama Beta hosted its annual Fall Parents weekend. We had a great time welcoming the new Phikeia parents to the chapter, and reconnecting with familiar faces.

The chapter also recognized the recipient of this year’s Joe Tonsmeire Leadership Award, Brooks Roberts (Fall ‘22). Brooks is a senior in Accounting from Mobile AL and has shown his dedication to not only the chapter, but to his education throughout his time at Auburn. Congratulations, Brooks!
