AU Block and Bridle Club

Mark your calendar for the Welcome Back Picnic on this upcoming Wednesday, August 19th! We will be set up from 4-6:30, so be sure to stop by to check out our merch, play some games and talk to our officers about Block and Bridle! Please register using the QR code or the link in our stories, we are excited to see everyone back on campus!

We had a great time at the AJCA roundup in Montgomery this past weekend! We loved the opportunity to support youth in agriculture, as well as interact with alumni! We also had the privilege of meeting Mrs. Oline Price, who was an officer for Block and Bridle in 1981! You can see her featured in one of our scrapbooks from that year. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to learn more about our club, we loved connecting with members of the ag community!

We had a great time tabling at Camp War Eagle yesterday! Incoming students had the chance to talk to current members about their experiences in the club, as well as learn about ear tagging! Be on the lookout for our table at the next session on Thursday July 16th!

LITTLE 'I', LITTLE 'I', LITTLE 'I'!!!!

Our members put in the hard work over the past 3 weeks to prepare and train their livestock for show day, and it certainly paid off.

Congratulations to Jewel Thompson, our Grand Champion, as well as Jodee Cole, our Reserve Champion! Everyone did a fantastic job showing their livestock! We hope everyone has enjoyed preparing for this show from start to finish, and had lots of fun. Can’t wait for next year's ;)

Meet the judges of Little 'I'!!

We'd like to say a massive thank you to our judges for taking time out of their day to judge our members and their animals during our Little 'i' Livestock Show on Saturday! We couldn't do it without y'all!

Psst... we won the College of Agriculture's Club of the Year award '25-'26!!! 🤭

Don't miss our last meeting of the semester -- ELECTIONS!!!

This meeting will be held on Thursday, April 16th, at 6 PM at the Beef Teaching Center.

Remember, if you plan to run for an officer position and would like to make a slideshow about yourself and why you believe you are a good fit for the position, please send it to Millie Poulos ([email protected]) by Monday (4/13)! We can't wait to meet all of our new candidates!

Our Little 'I' Livestock Show is getting closer!

When? Saturday, April 18th, from 8 AM to 2 PM!
Where? The Equine Center and the Beef Teaching Center!

This event is free for anyone to watch, so bring your friends and family!

The official start times for each class of animals is as follows:

8 AM - Horse Show at the Equine Center
10 AM - Dairy Show at the Beef Teaching Center
11 AM - Sheep Show at the Beef Teaching Center
12 PM - Beef Show at the Beef Teaching Center
1 PM - Round Robin

Join us on Sunday, April 19th, at 6 PM at Twenty-One Acres, Wedding & Event Venue for our annual Spring Banquet!

It will be an evening of celebrating the B&B Club and member's accomplishments, eating delicious food, and socializing. Dress code is Sunday best!

Tickets are $20/person and can be paid to our PayPal (Auburn University Block N Bridle), or by cash/check. The deadline to RSVP is April 12th, and the RSVP form can be found in our GroupMe and at the bottom of this post.
