Time to introduce another team member who joined us earlier this year. Sydney Hickman is from Fort Payne, Alabama, and is a senior in the Biosystems Engineering major at Auburn University. After graduation next spring, she plans to continue her studies by pursuing an MS degree in Biosystems Engineering with an emphasis in precision agriculture.

Sydney's favorite part about working in our program is getting hands-on experience and learning more about how technology is actually used in agriculture. She also enjoys being part of research that has an impact and being surrounded by people who are always willing to help, teach, and make the work environment enjoyable!!

Real Data. Real Results.

Harris Precision Solutions is proud to collaborate with AU Precision Ag to conduct real-world spray pattern testing using the same herbicide loads and application rates we use every day in the field.

We're measuring droplet distribution, swath width, coverage consistency, and application performance to ensure every acre receives the coverage it's supposed to.

Why does it matter? Better spray patterns mean fewer skips, fewer overlaps, less waste, better w**d control, and more value for our customers.

Precision backed by data. Results backed by proof.

We are excited to welcome Patton Simbeck to our team as a research intern this summer. Patton is from Loretto, Tennessee, and is currently pursuing his BS in Agricultural Engineering Technology & Business at Mississippi State University. He plans to pursue a Master's Degree in a precision agriculture-related field after his graduation in Spring 2027.

We are ready to get Patton involved in all our research, extension, and outreach activities and look forward to his contributions to the program!!
