TK/Kindergarten Option for a Shortened Day

Dear Auburn Elementary TK and Kindergarten Families,
We are so thrilled to welcome you and your student to the Auburn El Panther family: they are officially “Panther Cubs!”
The very first day of school on August 12, 2026, is such a big, beautiful milestone—and our teachers and paraprofessionals know that along with all the excitement, dropping your child off for that first year can bring a few jitters and tender moments for parents too. We completely get it, and we are here to support you every step of the way!
To help everyone ease in gently and build confidence, we are excited to offer an optional shortened TK and Kindergarten program for the first two weeks, (August 12th-21st). Here are all the details to help your family have a wonderful, smooth transition:
Shortened Program Details (August 12th – 21st)

Drop-off: Start your morning together and drop off your student no later than 7:45 AM.

Pick-up: Wrap up a fun morning with pick-up at 10:45 AM for TK and at 11:00 for Kinder, which is just before lunch.

Childcare Information: Please note that after-school child care will not be available for students enrolled in the shortened schedule and students must be picked up in the front office.

Class assignments and schedules will be available in Aeries Tuesday, August 11 provided that parents have completed the data confirmation. If you need help completing this step, please contact Cynthia Espinosa in the school office.
