On April 19, Jafar Orangi shared his work on "MXene 3D Structure in Energy Storage Application". Thank Jafar for this great presentation!

We also had "officer election" as an ending for this productive Spring semester 2018. In the following year, shown in the 2nd photo from left to right is our president - Michael Minkler, secretary - Fatima Hamade, vice president - Eunji Lee and the treasurer - Jiacheng He.

Thank you Lang, Eunji and Xingxing for your efforts during the past year! Thank all members and non-members for your participation and efforts. We look forward to seeing you all in the coming summer!

On Mar. 23 2018, our chapter had our 1st plant tour! A wonderful journey to sustainability! We visited InterfaceFLOR, the world's largest manufacturer of commercial carpet tile, which launched mission zero, a promise to eliminate all of its negative environmental impacts by 2020.

At this new year 2018, we had our 1st meeting on Feb. 8. Mr. Emre Kayali gave us a lecture on electrochemical performance of 2D Mxenes! Thank you Emre! We are going to a invited talk from Dr. Xinyu Zhang about the chemical v***r sensors using conducting polymers and carbon tubes on Feb. 28!
