The Auburn Alumni Association encourages commentary and discussion on its social media posts, however the association reserves the right to remove comments, messages, photos, memes, gifs and/or user posts that violate the association guidelines, as outlined below. Posts and/or comments may be removed for the following reasons:
• Use of language that includes profanity, bullying, vulgarities or otherwise conveys hate speech, discrimination, personal attacks and/or criminal activity

Soliciting monetary donations on behalf of individuals and/or other entities outside of Auburn University will jeopardize the association’s non-profit status. o The Auburn Alumni Association, including all affiliates such as the Auburn Club program and councils, is prohibited from promoting or endorsing the fundraising efforts of other not-for-profits outside of Auburn University. o The association is also prohibited from promoting or collaborating individual solicitation requests, including but not limited to, individual asks, GoFundMe, Kickstarter and/or other crowd sourcing accounts. o The alumni association is not responsible for comments or wall postings made by visitors to the page and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to screen, hide, and/or remove any content that is significantly off-topic, including but not limited to content that solicits, is commercial, (the primary purpose is to sell a product or a service), racist, sexist, abusive, profane, violent, obscene, spam, advocates illegal activity, contains falsehoods or is libelous, incites, threatens or personally attacks individuals or groups. o Content that harasses, abuses, threatens, or any way violates the rights of others will be hidden and/or removed and if necessary, reported to authorities. o The association also reserves the right to remove posts and/or comments containing links.

As a new school year begins, there’s one piece of advice Auburn alumni share again and again: get involved.

Join the organization. Introduce yourself first. Go to the event. Say yes to opportunities that feel a little outside your comfort zone.

The friendships, leadership experiences and connections you build at Auburn often start with one small decision to show up.

To the incoming class: your Auburn experience is waiting for you. Make the most of it from day one.

Bid Day is just around the corner, and all across campus, new friendships are beginning. 💙🧡

If you went through Panhellenic recruitment at Auburn, this week probably brings back a few memories—the early mornings, the nerves, the excitement, and maybe even the moment you found your home.

While Panhellenic recruitment is taking place this week, it's just one part of Auburn's vibrant fraternity and sorority community. Students also find lifelong friendships and leadership opportunities through our Interfraternity Council (IFC) fraternities and National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) organizations, whose recruitment and intake processes happen at different times throughout the year.

No matter how you found your place on campus, the people beside you often become part of your Auburn Family for life.

From Auburn swimmer to Olympic champion to president of the International Olympic Committee, Kirsty Coventry '06 continues to make history.

In the Summer issue of Auburn Magazine, she shares what it was like leading her first Olympic Games, how the Auburn Family supported her every step of the way and what she hopes to accomplish as she leads the Olympic Movement into the future.

"The strength we have as the Auburn Family... there's just a really genuine, authentic love of a family and support of a family."

Her story is a reminder that Auburn's greatest legacy isn't just the leaders we produce—it's the people who continue to lift one another up.
