Kayt's Kids: Learning and Discovering

At KKLD, we have one philosophy, children should be allowed to be children! We focus on mentoring the children, guiding them to what their interests are, teaching them, playing with them and watching the children blossom and grow, every single day! We have a preschool curriculum program that we incorporate every day, but we also recognize that all children do not advance at the same pace, so we focus on each child’s individual learning capabilities. While we do follow a schedule, we allow our children to explore what peaks his or her interest and encourage the little ones to explore, create and learn. We make sure that all children feel safe and protected and we encourage positive growth. It is so easy for little ones to become discouraged when they see their peers excelling, so we make sure we concentrate on the areas where a child may struggle and through healthy, positive encouragement, we watch these children become proud of their accomplishments and enjoy sharing in their triumph. As the owner and operator, I have been around children my whole life. I have worked amongst children throughout my teenage and adult years. I graduated college with honors and incorporate my knowledge into our every day schedule. We are currently enrolling for full-time positions for children who are potty trained and are 2-5 years of age.
