We love when our friends from Auburn Therapy Dogs come by! Thank you to Harley and Kayla for coming to visit with clients and students!

Here’s some info on why animal-assisted therapy is beneficial in speech therapy:
- Animals create a richer communication environment
- Animals can create more opportunities for communication exchange
- An animal’s presence can lower an individual’s heart rate and blood pressure, increase mood and participation, and make people feel more relaxed 🐶🗣️💙🧡
