If I were still in high school, there are 3 things I would be focused on right now:

📚 1. Start training for the ACT early.
The ACT can play a huge role in college admissions and scholarship opportunities. A few points can literally be worth thousands of dollars. The earlier you start preparing, the more opportunities you’ll create for yourself.

🎓 2. Research colleges before it’s time to apply.
Look at the schools you’re interested in and learn what GPA, ACT/SAT scores, and admission requirements they expect. Having a plan early makes the application process much less stressful.

✅ 3. Set yourself up for a stress-free senior year.
Your senior year should be spent making memories with friends, enjoying your final year of high school, and celebrating what’s ahead. The students who prepare during their sophomore and junior years are usually the ones who get to enjoy senior year the most.

The best investment you can make in your future is preparing before you have to. Start early, stay consistent, and give yourself as many options as possible.

The ACT may have changed, but our advice hasn’t.

🧪 Even though the science section is now optional, we still recommend students take it whenever possible.

Why? Because some colleges, scholarships, and future programs may still value or prefer a science score. Taking it helps keep more doors open and keeps your application as competitive as possible.

☕📚 Two days. Tons of notes. And a whole lot more confidence.

Mitti recently attended HighPrep’s 2-Day NAPLEX Webinar and joined us for both days of the review.

Day 1 focused on high-yield disease states, study strategies, and helping students understand what topics deserve the most attention. Day 2 covered calculations and biostatistics, two areas that many students find challenging when preparing for the exam.

One of Mitti’s biggest takeaways was attending early in her study process. Instead of waiting until the last few weeks before her exam, she was able to identify her strengths, recognize areas that need improvement, and make adjustments to her study plan while she still has time.
